DesOEQ23 is the final meeting of the UK Programme Grant “Designing out of equilibrium many-body quantum systems” (DesOEQ), which combines experimentalists and theorists from the Universities of Strathclyde, Cambridge, and Oxford. This meeting follows on from our successful “Many-body Dynamics and Open Quantum Systems” meeting in 2018. We will bring together theorists and experimentalists from a range of fields related to open quantum systems and many-body dynamics, including cold atoms and molecules, Rydberg gases, and connected solid-state systems. We plan to explore various aspects of quantum dynamics, especially recent developments in platforms for quantum simulation, in an environment with a lot of time for discussions.
